Welcome to the Royal British Legion Thailand, based in Tropical Bert's, Pattaya. We were formed on 1st July 2007 and have in the region of 200 members, we meet socially every Sunday from 2pm in Tropical Bert's however our main function is of course the care and welfare of those who have served or who are serving in the Armed Forces of the Crown and or, their dependents
Since our formation we have paraded our Standard every Remembrance Sunday at the British Embassy in Bangkok, every ANZAC Day at the River Kwai and every June at Ipoh Malaysia in Remembrance of the Malay Emergency 1948 to 1960.
We also have a Sub Branch in Chiang Mai along with members in both Bangkok and Korat, all of these locations have their own meeting places and hold their own events, you will find details on their respective pages.
Should you be a serving or former member of the UK Armed Forces and feel you need help here in Thailand please feel free to contact us, should you be the Dependant of a former member of the armed forces and need help, again please contact us.
All information received is strictly confidential and you will find a "Contact Us Form" within each area page and on the Welfare page.

      Certificate of Thanks from London

      Picture
I had a surprise  recently when our President Graham Macdonald presented me with a "Certificate of Thanks" sent from London for the Welfare work we have carried out in Thailand, I must say that Glenn Croston who covers North Thailand and who has also carried out some Long trips to visit veterans is also part of this award.
      It will hang with pride.
